From Onion Creek Senior Center
March 15, 2020 – The Board of Directors of the Onion Creek Senior Center in Buda has made the decision to close the Senior Center to all activities – exercise classes, dances, games, etc. -- during the week of March 16 – 22, 2020, due to concerns with the Covid-19 coronavirus and the safety of our seniors. The Center will be serving a take-out lunch on Thursday, March 19, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Board and Executive Director will reassess the situation weekly and keep our members advised. Members are advised to follow the instructions of the Center for Disease Control “CDC” (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-nCoV/index.html) and the Hays Local Health Dept. (hayscountytx.com/coronavirus-covid-19-information) to stay safe. Members can also check the OCSC website (http://ocscbuda.org/) and Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/OCSCBuda/) for additional information on the status of the Center. Additionally, members may call 512-667-4516 if they have any questions relating to the closure, the March 19 luncheon, or for other assistance.
