Hays County and the City of Buda will begin construction efforts at the intersection of Main Street and Old San Antonio Road on Monday, July 15, 2019. The work will last for approximately four weeks. Construction will disrupt traffic and narrow traffic flow into single lanes on the east and west bound roads. Old San Antonio Road will continue to be north-bound only until complete in October. Please be aware of the traffic signage, road flagmen, contractor equipment, and law enforcement present to aid in the flow and control of vehicles and pedestrians. The purpose of the project is to install in-ground utilities and infrastructure for the new Buda Elementary School on Old San Antonio Road and meet the community’s needs as we continue to grow.
