A flash flood watch is in effect until 7 PM (Wednesday). Heavy rain is expected across the northern portions of the Hill Country and Austin metro area. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible with isolated amounts near 3 inches. Since the ground is already saturated, it won't take much rain to cause potential flooding in low lying or flood prone areas. A severe thunderstorm watch is also in effect until 1 p.m. Please monitor local weather reports.
