Due to road construction, Old Goforth Road between Green Meadows Lane and Hillside Terrace will be closed on Saturday, January 26 and Sunday, January 27. The closure will last from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM on both days. If the contractor finishes the work on Saturday, then the road will be open Sunday. But for now, plan for the road to be closed on both Saturday and Sunday. Detour signs will be up. The road improvement project is part of the bond package passed in 2014. See map below.
In addition, Old Goforth Road between FM 2001 and South of Green Meadows Lane, will be closed to Northbound traffic from Tuesday, January 29 to Saturday, Feb. 2. The closure will last from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM each day. Detour signs will be posted. See map below.
