CITY OF BUDA RECOGNIZES EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR
Employee Service Awards Also Given Out
The City of Buda recognized its “Employee of the Year” at this year’s Annual Holiday Luncheon. Marty Clark has been with the City of Buda since 1992. He joined the City’s Public Works Department right out of high school. Mr. Clark learned how to install water meters and repair water and sewer lines. He went on to earn several utility licenses, such as a Class C Groundwater Treatment Operator, Class C Wastewater Treatment Operator, and Class 3 Wastewater Collection Operator. These licenses opened up his carrier path to become a Field Supervisor, Wastewater Systems Operator, followed by Field Supervisor, and then Water Systems Operator. Mr. Clark is currently a Utility Supervisor. He is also active in the community. He is on the Vocational Agriculture Board and is a member of the 4-H Club where he volunteers his time working the 4-H Club hamburger concession stand and as a parking assistant for shuttling citizens to Buda Fest and the Trail of Lights. Please join us in congratulating Marty Clark!
