WHAT: Northbound I-35 Entrance Ramp Closure
WHEN: Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018 at 12 p.m. – Friday, Oct. 26 at 5 a.m. (weather permitting)
WHERE: Northbound I-35, just south of Main Street bridge in Buda
AUSTIN – Beginning at noon on Thursday, Oct. 25, the Texas Department of Transportation will temporarily close the entrance ramp to I-35 just south of the Main Street bridge in Buda, in order to make repairs to the pavement damaged by recent rain. Crews will make the repairs as soon as possible, and the ramp is expected to reopen by 5 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 26.
Drivers wishing to enter northbound I-35 in Buda will need to travel through the signal at Main Street and take the next entrance ramp. TxDOT will monitor the signal timing at Main Street and make adjustments as needed during this temporary closure.
Road signs have been placed to alert drivers of the closure, and motorists should allow extra time to travel through this area. TxDOT asks that drivers be patient and remain aware when traveling through the work zone.
