Join the City of Buda for the 16th Annual Boo-Da Halloween on Saturday, October 27 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. From costume and pumpkin decorating contests to a brand new haunted maze, we've got your Halloween needs covered! Enjoy this family-friendly event in the heart of Downtown Buda.
Pumpkin Decorating Contest
Show off your decorating expertise and submit your pumpkin into our Pumpkin Decorating Contest! Carving, painting, we accept it all! The 1st place winner will receive a trophy, and the 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive gift cards. We will be accepting entries and ballots from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. at the pumpkin judging table near the gazebo in the Downtown Greenbelt, near the old library. Drop off your pumpkin at the table! The winners are scheduled to be announced at 6:30 p.m. at the gazebo. We look forward to seeing your festive pumpkins!
Costume Contest
Throw on your best costume and enter our Costume Contest! Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 costumes, with the 1st place winner receiving a special prize. Prizes will be awarded for the following categories:
Adult Costume (Judging will begin at 5:00 p.m)
Youth Costume (Judging will begin at 5:30 p.m.)
Group Costume (Judging will begin at 6:00 p.m.)
There is no registration required. Please make your way over to the gazebo in the Downtown Greenbelt at the designated line up times.
