REMINDER: On Sunday, Oct. 21, 2018, the Annual Livestrong Challenge Ride will cut through Buda. This will impact several roads, including Old San Antonio Road, Main Street, FM 967, FM 1626, FM 2770, etc. The ride starts at 8 a.m. and is supposed to end by 4:00 p.m. Please expect delays.
According to the livestrong challenge website, riders on the 65-mile and 100-mile course must reach mile 15 at the intersection of Main Street and FM 967 in Buda by 9:30 a.m. to stay on course. If later that 9:30 a.m. they will be redirected on to the 45-mile route.
Therefore, expect a large number of cyclists throughout the morning, particularly between 8 and 9:30 a.m., and into the afternoon. Please use caution on the roadways.
