All City Council races on the ballot are UNCONTESTED. Therefore, the City of Buda is cancelling its City Council election in November. However, Buda City Hall will still serve as a polling location for federal, state, local and county races in the November 6 general election.

At the June 5, 2018 City Council meeting, Council approved the district lines for Districts A, B, and C. These single member districts will be used as boundaries for electing City Councilmembers beginning with the November 2018 Election.
