Stage 2 Water Allowances and Restrictions
Outdoor Irrigation (Automatic and Hand Hose End Sprinkler Systems)
Not allowed between the hours of 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Twice-per–week outdoor watering schedule on designated day.
Odd-numbered residential: Wednesday and/or Saturday
Even-numbered residential: Thursday and/or Sunday
Commercial, mixed use and multifamily: Tuesday and/or Friday
It is recommended that outdoor watering be limited to one of the permitted watering days each week in order to promote conservation.
Irrigation with Handheld Bucket, Handheld Hose or Drip Irrigation System
Not allowed between the hours of 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Irrigation of Vegetable Gardens with a Handheld Bucket, Handheld Hose, Soaker Hose or Drip Irrigation System

Prohibited between the hours of 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Irrigation of Protected Trees by a Soaker Hose, Automatic Bubbler, Tree Watering Bag, or Similar Device Placed Within a Tree’s Dripline
Allowed any day of the week.
Prohibited between the hours of 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Swimming Pools
Filling of new swimming pools using municipal water is prohibited.
Makeup water for existing swimming pools is allowed.
Pool surfaces shall be covered at least 25 percent when not in use.
Aesthetic Water Features
Non-Recirculating prohibited at all times.
Washing of Impervious Surfaces
Prohibited, unless required for health and safety.
Vehicle Washing
Noncommercial vehicle washing is allowed on your designated watering day using a handheld bucket or a handheld hose equipped with a positive shutoff device. Vehicle washing is prohibited between the ours of 10 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Commercial vehicle washing is allowed on any day and at any time.
Charity carwashes are not allowed, unless held at and using a commercial carwash facility to wash vehicles.
Violations
Anyone who violates this ordinance could be fined between $100 and $500 and be subject to utility surcharges.
