You already know Buda is one of the best places to live, BUT a recent study published by homesnacks.net discovered the same thing. They ranked Buda #6 in the best places to live around Austin.
HomeSnacks used the following criteria to determine their rankings.
- Low unemployment rate
- High Median household incomes
- Population density (lots of things to do)
- High home values
- A lot of college educated people
- Low poverty
- High rate of insured families
They also used the newest American Community Survey data (2012-2016) to research each suburb.
FYI: They defined a suburb as being within 30 miles of Austin.
