CITY OF BUDA RANKED ONE OF THE SAFEST CITIES IN TEXAS
THE RANKING COMES FROM THE NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR HOME SAFETY AND SECURITY
The National Council for Home Safety and Security has named Buda one of the Safest Cities in Texas in their 2018 rankings. Buda came in at number 50 out of the 224 Texas cities that were ranked.
To identify the safest cities in Texas, the National Council for Home Safety and Security reviewed the most recent FBI Uniform Crime Report statistics, along with their own population data and internal research.
The ranking for the remaining cities were based on the number of reported violent crimes (aggravated assault, murder, rape, and robbery) and property crimes (burglary, arson, larceny-theft, and motor vehicle theft) per 1,000 people.
