The Municipal Building is still on track to be finished by late April. However, staff will not move into the building until possibly late May.
“On the City Hall portion of it we’ve already conducted a punch list. They are in the process of making corrections,” said Project Manager Ray Creswell.
Finishes in the lobby and future library are closer to completion.
“Our crew is in the process of putting up finishes in the lobby. In the library we are approximately 80% complete on finishes.”
Work is progressing in the City Council chambers.
"Right now they are in the process of finishing up with the wood, installation of the lights, taping the dry wall, and installing the council dais."
Sidewalk and exterior work also continues.
“They are currently pouring concrete for the sidewalks up to Main Street. The outside is about 85% percent complete.”
The pedestrian bridge is in place, but the benches and landscaping need to be finished.
“Currently we’re standing in the council chamber. Right now they are in the process of finishing up with the wood, installation of the lights, taping the dry wall, and installing the council dais.
