Stagecoach Park will soon be transformed into a winter wonderland.
“It takes us a full month of labor and detail work to get things done,” said Parks Supervisor Juan Mosqueda.
“They have actually started installing lights along the trail and on the fence posts. We will put our 40 foot Christmas tree up next week and we will light up the windmill.”
Parks Supervisor Juan Mosqueda says they are putting a different spin on things. From Superman to the Death Star, this year’s Trail of Lights will have a different feel.
“This year we have areas of the trail that will play to everybody. We have things for kids, toddlers, teenagers, Star Wars fans, people into retro stuff, and we even have things for people who like to hunt and fish.”
Our parks employees actually made many of the displays.
“We have to give kudos to the parks staff for really putting their heads together and getting busy. We hope everybody comes out and takes a look at it."
