It’s hard to believe, but a year ago there was nothing on the Municipal site. Today it’s a different story as our crew continues making progress.
“They’re continuing the Main Drive all the way through Loop Street'" said Ray Creswell, Project Manager
Once the Main Drive is complete, it will extend from Stagecoach all the way to Loop Street
"They are also beginning to complete all the sidewalks along the Main Drive and along the side of the building."
Meanwhile, the pedestrian bridge will connect the main drive to the Municipal building.
“The pedestrian bridge at this point in time was supposed to be completed. The post tension cabling had not shown up, but it is now in place. It is scheduled to pour at the end of this week."
Work is also progressing on the exterior of the building.
“They are in the process of installing the stone on the exterior wall. The roofing is continuing. They’re starting the exterior framing on the library and laying out the exterior walls."
And the Public Safety Building is transforming quickly.
“They are currently trying to finish all of the interior walls. The ceiling framing has begun. Installation of the window frames are in place and the window glazing is on site to be installed. Roofing is to be wrapped up within the next week or so.”
