BUDA, TEXAS – Buda’s signature holiday event, Budafest in its 42nd year, starts Friday, Dec. 2, goes through Sunday, Dec. 4, with a full slate of holiday activities. Budafest grounds will include the downtown Buda area, Greenbelt, and City Park and Amphitheatre. Budafest activities are open to the public. BUDAFEST SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES
FRIDAY, DEC. 2
6 p.m. — Festival grounds open to the public
6:30 p.m. — Tree Lighting Ceremony
6 – 9 p.m. — Ornament market, pictures with Santa, performances, and more
(Downtown Buda Greenbelt)
7 p.m. — Outdoor Movie: Home Alone
SATURDAY, DEC. 3
Noon — Festival grounds open to the public
Noon – 10 p.m. — Craft and food vendors, carnival, snowslide, other activities
Noon – 5 p.m. — Pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus
Noon – 6 p.m. — Snow play area (or until snow melts)
6:30 – 8 p.m. — Lighted parade and (7:30 p.m.) fireworks
7:45 p.m. — Concert at Buda City Park and Amphitheater: Asleep at the Wheel
10 p.m. — Festival grounds close to the public
SUNDAY, DEC. 4
Noon — Festival grounds open to the public

COCOA JINGLE SCHEDULE
Location: Downtown Buda, TX
- From 3 - 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, residents and visitors can walk Downtown Buda for all of the “hot cocoa stops.” Get your annual Buda Cocoa Mugs and enjoy carriage rides. The youth will be able to enjoy craft activities and pictures with Santa!
