BUDA, TEXAS – The City of Buda invites the community to join Buda’s Birthday Celebration on Saturday, April 2, from noon - 10 p.m. at the Buda Amphitheater & City Park and in downtown Buda. This free event, which has not been celebrated since Buda’s 125th birthday, will be packed with fun activities! The folk-rock band Jamestown Revival of Austin, Texas, will headline the event. Central Texas blues favorite W.C. Clark and psychedelic cumbia band Money Chicha are also in the entertainment lineup.
This family-friendly occasion will feature live music, craft and food vendors, a carnival, a parade, and more! The event also presents opportunities for the community to participate in the Birthday Parade and to perform. Individuals who wish to participate in the parade or are interested in performing can register on the event page at www.budaamphitheater.com/budasbday. Applications to participate as food and market vendors also may be completed online. The deadline to apply to become a vendor for Buda’s Birthday Celebration is Friday, March 18.
