Election Day Approaching: What Is On the Ballot in Buda?

BUDA, TEXAS – At-Large Position 3, Single Member District A, and a general obligation bond package totaling $89.66 million are appearing on Election Day, Nov. 2, 2021, ballot for citizens of Buda, Texas.
Candidates for At-Large Position 3 include Virginia Jurika, LaVonia Horne-Williams, and Emily Jones. If a run-off election is required for At-Large Position 3, it will occur Dec. 7, 2021. Paul Daugereau is running unopposed for Single Member District A. During a special meeting in August, the Buda City Council approved Proposition A, comprised of transportation and mobility projects, and Proposition B, comprised of parks and recreation projects, for the November election.
