BUDA, TEXAS — Installation of various park enhancements are underway at the City of Buda’s Bradfield Park and Summer Pointe Park. City crews, including the Parks and Recreation and Public Works departments, and contractors are conducting the work.
Workers are installing a replacement playground that includes a playscape and new wood-fiber surfacing, an oodle swing and two new restrooms with a connecting water fountain.
More extensive enhancements are being made at Summer Pointe. The park will have a full-sized basketball court with sports surfacing complete with regulation lines. The court will have two 10-foot-tall basketball hoops, one eight-foot-tall basketball hoop and a bench. Plans also include a new playground with Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant features. The playscape surface will be comprised of engineered wood fiber. Two new restrooms with a connecting water fountain are being installed as well.
