Nov. 3 General Election Voter Safety
Tomorrow is Election Day! We encourage everyone to exercise their right to vote. We have received some concerns from citizens worried about voter intimidation in the form of blocking roads or vote centers. The City of Buda does have security measures in place in the event that these types of issues should arise. The City will be monitoring vote centers throughout Election Day and into the evening hours even after the polls have closed. We want Buda to be a safe and pleasant place to be on Election Day, whether you are voting or visiting. Hays County election staff will also continue to monitor the election site and lines and implement proper voting protocol as they have during early voting.
